JACAM has a fully staffed and equipped laboratory located in Sterling, Kansas. Currently there are 3 PHD Chemists, 4 Chemists, 3 Technicians and 2 Chemical Engineers on staff to support our operations.

Our highly trained and experienced technicians use state-of-the-art instrumentation, such as the only scanning electron microscope (SEM) in the area, for quick and accurate results to properly identify problems and provide recommendations. Our close proximity to over 70% of our business is very beneficial for both our employees as well as our customers. Our short turnaround time allows us the opportunity to troubleshoot problems in a timely manner. This coupled with the ability to speak directly to our chemist provides a great opportunity to take care of our customers' needs.

Specialty Products

TYPES:

APC-2000: This powerful all-purpose cleaner is an absolute break-through in cleaning technology. APC-2000 was especially formulated for tougher cleaning jobs and is unmatched in versatility and effectiveness. This totally unique product is the first truly new cleaning innovation to the car wash industry. Dissolves bugs easily, removes tar and grease, powerful road-film remover. Completely water soluble - no residue.
ENVIROCLEAN I & III: An excellent degreaser with a wide range of cleaning ability including: degreasing oily tools and automotive engines, cleaning heavy equipment, oily platforms, floors, concrete slabs or walls. It helps break emulsions stabilized by paraffin.

Water Treatment Products
JACAM offers a wide variety of specialized water treating products for the oil and gas industry as well as the industrial markets.

TYPES:

WWT-1902C: A unique formulation designed to rapidly penetrate and displace biomass and associated solids to prevent microbial induced corrosion. WWT-1902C is a combination of corrosion and solids control. It is very effective in sweet and sour systems. Used in producing wells, water injection and disposal wells and is the product of choice for controlling corrosion in crude gathering and transportation systems.
IRON FITE: A unique patented product that is an economical and extremely effective means to inhibit iron and other trace metals from oxidizing in water and brine. It has been formulated specifically for industry, which relies on softened water.
WOS-1: An aqueous bisulfite solution designed specifically to remove dissolved oxygen from water-bearing systems in order to prevent corrosion from occurring.

Surfactants
JACAM offers a wide variety of carbonic, anionic or non-ionic surfactants or blends designed for any need in the petrochemical industry

TYPES:

WSF-6004: A blend of low molecular weight organic acid and a non-ionic surfactant. Designed for the cleanup and removal of calcium carbonate, iron sulfide and paraffin in producing wells, disposal wells, waterfloods and other production equipment. Excellent in water wetting fines and solids.
WSF-9020: A surface-active agent having many uses. In oil and gas production systems has increased production in wells, which have been plugged by deposits. It is effective in dispersing tank bottoms containing paraffin and iron sulfide. In water injection and salt-water disposal systems can be used very effectively as a "slug" to condition the injection formation in the vicinity of the well bore. Demonstrated ability to increase water injectivity through reduction of surface tension and increasing water-wetability of the formation.

Scale Removers
JACAM offers a wide variety of products that will remove carbonate, or sulfate scales, under a wide array of conditions. These products are available in liquid or solid form for customer convenience. Products that offer a competitive advantage are viewable in the "Innovative Solutions" section.

Salt Inhibitor - Desalt Products
JACAM provides patented technology that prevents and removes salt deposition by molecular distortion in producing oil and gas wells and surface vessels.

BENEFITS:

Minimizes "wash out" in salt formations during drilling
Eliminates salt deposition in drilling muds
Eliminates costly water hauling and pulling expenses in oil and gas operations
Effective over a wide range of temperature and pressure changes

Paraffin & Asphaltene Products
JACAM offers a wide variety of dispersants, solvents and inhibitors formulated for waxes, asphaltenes or combinations thereof. Available in oil and water-soluble formulations.

TYPES:

OPD-1517C: A concentrated blend of organic materials designed to control paraffin problems in crude oil. It is very effective in preventing and removing paraffin from pumps, tubing, flow lines, and storage tanks. OPD-1517C: helps stimulate production, eliminates costly hot oiling, and dissolves hard paraffin and asphaltene deposits and aids emulsion breakers.

Gas Sweeteners
JACAM manufactures several concentrations of specially formulated gas sweeteners. These products provide exceptional performance at a lower cost for hydrogen sulfide removal. The reaction product is a solids free surfactant/corrosion inhibitor that can be injected down any disposal system.

TYPES:

WGS-50WC: A specially formulated concentrated blend of amines designed for the effective and environmentally safe removal of H2S from gas in flow lines or bubble tower applications. WGS-50WC reacts rapidly with hydrogen sulfide to form stable, water-soluble by-products that can be injected down disposal wells. Based on the H2S level, WGS-50WC can be blended with water or methanol to lower the activity if desired.

Foamers & Defoamers
JACAM offers several oil and water soluble Foamers and Defoamers to perform under a wide variety of conditions.

TYPES:

WF-12: A temperature stable water-soluble blend of surfactants especially formulated to produce high quality foams in a wide variety of conditions and formations, including brines. Excellent in unloading gas wells via batch or continuous treatment. WF-12 is also available in pellet or stix form.
ODF 60: An oil-soluble silicone formulation designed for general purpose defoaming of hydrocarbon fluids. It will prevent or remove foam in degassers, producing wells and other equipment where gas release causes foam problems.

Emulsion Breakers
JACAM offers a wide variety of emulsion breakers specifically formulated for each area treated. These products have a broad spectrum with varying degrees of oil loving and water loving characteristics, specifically designed to yield fast water drop and interface control. JACAM also offers various combinations of emulsion breaker/paraffin dispersants to control paraffin-laden emulsions.

Corrosion Inhibitors
JACAM offers a wide variety of amines and amides formulated to be oil soluble, water dispersible and water soluble depending on the various requirements.

TYPES:

Super Corr: Patented extended film life corrosion inhibitor. Super Corr's unique formulation provides more persistent filming than with conventional amine inhibitors while providing excellent corrosion protection in sweet or sour environments. The superior filming characteristics allow for treatment frequencies 1/3 to 1/4 of that needed with conventional inhibitors.
WCI-1157: Blend of imidazoline salts and quaternary amines designed for protection against carbon dioxide and hydrogen sulfide corrosion. Water-soluble and dispersible in hydrocarbons making it useful in oil and gas wells, gas lines, hydraulically pumped wells and centrifugally pumped wells.

Combination Corrosion - Scale Inhibitors
JACAM offers a wide variety of amine and phosphonate or ester blends for all types of mineral deposition (oil or water soluble).

TYPES:

WCS-201: Balanced blend of water soluble corrosion and scale inhibitors designed to control calcium carbonate scaling and corrosion from H2S and CO2 in producing oil and gas wells, water supply wells, water injection wells, flow lines and surface vessels.
WCS-5167(1): Balanced blend of water soluble corrosion and scale inhibitors designed to control carbonate scales, H2S and CO2 corrosion, and bio-fouling in producing oil and gas wells, water supply wells, water injection wells, flow lines and surface vessels.

Acid Stimulation Chemicals
JACAM offers a wide variety of acid inhibitors, non-emulsifiers, anti-sludging agents, mutual solvents, and leading edge technology for iron control in acidizing sour systems.

TYPES:

Stim-All 941: Highly effective non-emulsifier surfactant chemical designed for use in acidizing, fracturing and squeeze operations. Provides excellent protection against corrosion from hydrogen sulfide and carbon dioxide. Acts as a foaming agent, and surface tension reducer, clay stabilizer, and is effective at eliminating the effects of bacteria in stimulation fluids.
SP-3: Proprietary blend of specialty additives and solvents that have been designed for use in acid for the removal of skin damage at or near the face of the well bore in producing and injection wells. Penetrates, breaks down, and disperses oil, sludge, and paraffin deposits, which block pore spaces. Breaks emulsion and water blocks, disperse solids and leave the formation in a water-wet state, facilitating increased productivity or improved injectivity.

Barium Sulfate Dissolver
Proprietary mixture of surfactants designed to dissolve Barium Sulfate and Magnesium Sulfate Scale while also dissolving iron deposition in oil and gas wells.

BENEFITS:

Restores formations that have been damaged by BaSO4 deposits due to casing leaks or mixture of dissimilar water
Eliminates need for follow-up acid treatment

Calcium Sulfate Dissolver
Proprietary mixture of surfactants designed to dissolve Calcium Sulfate and Magnesium Sulfate Scale while also dissolving iron deposition in oil and gas wells.

BENEFITS:

Restores formations that have been damaged by CaSO4 deposits due to casing leaks or mixture of dissimilar water
Eliminates need for follow-up acid treatment
Product should be pumped neat for maximum results. Recommended dosage is two times the well bore volume. Well should be left shut in for at least 12 hours to allow for complete reaction.

Super Corr
JACAM's Super Corr is a unique corrosion inhibitor designed for use in the batch treatment of oil and gas wells.

Solid Ball Chemistry
JACAM's patented line of 'Solid Ball' chemistry provides real chemical solutions for production problems.

TYPES:

WT Balls are a patented blend of amines and surfactants designed to provide corrosion protection in pipelines and wastewater tanks. They are excellent in controlling corrosion in carbon dioxide and hydrogen sulfide systems. They also remove biomass, eliminating under deposit corrosion.
IC Balls are a patented formulation of surfactants, iron sequestering agents and organic acids. They are very effective in dissolving mineral and iron scales. As well as in clarifying "black water". Excellent for disposal or injection wells to lower pressures.
CI Balls are a unique patented method of providing corrosion inhibitor protection to oil and gas wells, water handling systems, and surface vessels. Effective against hydrogen sulfide and carbon dioxide corrosion. Highly water dispersible with excellent film persistency.
SI Balls are a unique patented formulation of phosphates and dispersing surfactants designed to prevent deposition of all carbonate and sulfate scales. SI Balls are used in gas wells, surface equipment, pipelines or other areas where mineral deposition is a concern.
